Crowds of national retailer representatives, international mobile distributors, and media form to experience the sleek new devices
LAS VEGAS, NV - January 13, 2012—The response to the new iWALK™ line of smartphone power solutions and accessories at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has been overwhelming, Malsha representatives say. The product line has been enthusiastically praised by booth visitors for its elegant design, the comprehensive array of devices and power levels, and the fact that the line is fully patented and the iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices are certified by Apple. Several national and international distribution agreements are in the beginning phases, ensuring that the iWALK line will soon be available at quality mobile device retailers across the globe.
“It’s been almost overwhelming,” said Tony Barbara, VP of Malsha. “As soon as the doors opened, we were mobbed. We came to CES confident that our products would capture attention and stand out in our market, and they absolutely have. People have been standing in line to see iWALK, and gotten on the phone with their colleagues to say, ‘Hey, you need to see this.’ We’re definitely generating some buzz.”
“We’ve collected 1000 leads in the first two days of the show,” added Barbara. “We couldn’t be happier with the response.”
The iWALK line is the recipient of several patents and a Global Sources Electronics Design Award, and includes elegant, powerful, and compact docking and tethered battery backups and mobile charging solutions for Apple iPhones, iPods and iPads, as well as Blackberries and other smartphones. CES attendees from wireless device distributors, wholesalers, and major national retail chains were among those especially interested in the products, as well as intrigued media and even curious competitors.
Media visitors to the booth were given a free iWALK device for stopping by, and expressed delight with their initial impressions. “I can’t wait to review this,” said one product reviewer who left with an 800mAh iWALK i800 docking iPhone/iPod backup battery. “It’s apparently the world’s smallest docking backup battery, and so far I love what I see.”
The iWALK line will be available for viewing and testing through the end of CES at South Hall 4, Booth #36269. After that time, interested parties are invited to contact Malsha for a product catalog and explore the line online at www.iwalkusa.com.
