PHILADELPHIA, September 13, 2009 - Magicpins, one of the premier prepaid wireless distributors in North America and a leader in b2b e-commerce systems for distribution of prepaid wireless refills, has announced the launch of their extensive website redesign. XtraGlobex, the Philadelphia-based strategic business development firm and MagicPins’ communications agency, designed and developed the revitalized web presence, which offers retailers, vendors, and distributors insight into the company’s history and extensive offerings, as well as easy log-in to their industry-leading retailer portal.

“We are thrilled with this redesign,” said Anurag Jain, founder and CEO of Magicpins. “Our technology is one of our strongest offerings, and has always been a differentiator for us. Now, to complement that, our public-facing website truly represents the scope and caliber of our organization. It really shows how distinguished we are from our competition.”

The new site, at www.magicpins.com, reflects the position of Magicpins as a true industry leader with broad national footprint and unique, game-changing offerings. The site offers highlights of the Magicpins catalogue, as well as the organizational philosophy and service-orientation that makes Magicpins an ideal partner for retailers, providers, and other distributors alike. “We truly add value and excellence to our partners’ businesses,” said Jain. “This is our number one objective. We are excited to have a site that really brings that message home.” Prospective partners will be able to contact Magicpins through the site, and current partners will have quick log-in access on every page to their portal, the indispensable hub of business for a Magicpins-affiliated retailer.

XtraGlobex, a strategic business development firm based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, designed and developed the new Magicpins website as part of their strategic marketing partnership. Press Release: Magic Pins Enters Partnership with T-Mobile to Offer Direct-To-Account Refill Services

Magic Pins to offer groundbreaking instant prepaid phone refill capability to retailers serving T-Mobile customers

PHILADELPHIA, August 12, 2009 – Magic Pins, a leading prepaid wireless distributor in North America, has announced a special partnership with T-Mobile to bring the T-Mobile Direct-To-Account (D2A) program to Magic Pins partners nationwide. Selected to integrate with T-Mobile to offer the program, Magic Pins will make D2A immediately available to its retailers and partner distributors. The D2A program enables T-Mobile customers to refill their prepaid mobile phones instantly, without the intermediate step of acquiring and entering a refill PIN.

“Magic Pins is proud to add the D2A program to our T-Mobile offerings,” said Anurag Jain, President of Magic Pins. “We are always actively seeking ways to bring improved operational speed, ease of use, and profitability to our retailers and other partners. This program is a natural choice for us.”

The T-Mobile program streamlines the prepaid phone refill process, eliminating the often cumbersome step of purchasing refill coupons in set amounts, and entering those coupon PINs into the phone to activate the account replenishment. With D2A, dealers simply enter the paid amount and the mobile number into the D2A module in the Magic Pins portal, and the amount is instantly credited to the customer’s prepaid wireless account with no further action necessary.

“It’s one of the most important evolutions the prepaid wireless industry has ever seen,” said Bill Davis, T-Mobile National Manager for Prepaid Wireless. “With the latest technology, we can make the process of refilling a T-Mobile prepaid phone almost effortless.”

The D2A program, while forward-thinking, requires adept distributorship to help retailers establish and use the capability. “We at T-Mobile are eager to make this available to as many of our customers as possible, but not every T-Mobile retailer has the technology necessary to implement the program,” said Davis. “That’s where technologically excellent distributors like Magic Pins become so important. The platform they bring to their partners is a perfect fit for game-changing programs like ours.”

Magic Pins is providing the D2A program to its retail and distributor partners, including existing point-of-sale activation (POSA) company partners who connect to T-Mobile through Magic Pins. “We’re confident that enabling our partners to offer instant, one-step refills for T-Mobile prepaid phones will help them attract new customers and increase the volume from their existing customers. It’s a real competitive advantage,” said Jain. “Magic Pins is excited to roll D2A out to our partners nationwide.” For more information about D2A and partnership opportunities, contact the company at www.MagicPins.com.

Agreement to bring on-the-ground strategy, marketing, and placement to clients in the fast moving health goods segment

PHILADELPHIA, May 20, 2009 – XtraGlobex, a Philadelphia-based strategic business development and communications firm with multinational clients has announced a strategic alliance with Sohum Graphics Pvt Ltd, a Mumbai India-based advertising and communications agency focused on providing marketing services and consultancy to the fast moving health goods (FMHG) segment. The alliance will bring Sohum’s extensive expertise in strategy development and marketing support in the Indian FMHG segment to the XtraGlobex US clients, enabling exciting opportunities for growth into that burgeoning marketplace.

“We are thrilled to have formed this alliance with Sohum,” said Fady Sahhar, founding partner at XtraGlobex. “India’s economy continues to grow as a star among global economies, and its Consumer Packaged Goods industry is evolving rapidly, especially in the healthcare arenas.” Clients overseas are well-advised to consider entering India at this point, Sahhar said, and XtraGlobex is excited to be able to offer this unique combination of international awareness and on-the-ground savvy.

The mindset of the Indian consumer is changing rapidly, contributing to the marketplace shift. “The emerging contemporary mantra in India is ‘wellness,’” said Suhas Wadwalkar, head of Brand Communications for Sohum. “Factors like cues from cultural role models, rising consumer awareness, changing regulatory thought process, and the newly booming pharmacy retail format, combined with a high demand and relatively few products and players in the space, are coming together to make this the perfect time for entering the Indian market with goods like nutraceuticals, OTC pharmaceuticals, and other health and wellness products.” Sohum recently published an article examining the business case for entering today’s FMHG market in India in the ExpressPharma journal. That article can be accessed on the ExpressPharma website here: FMHG market in India—A close view

Through this alliance, XtraGlobex and Sohum are positioned to provide clients in the US who are interested in entering the Indian market, with international and local partners possessing exceptional skills, knowledge, infrastructure, R&D and production facilities, marketing sales force, distribution, and logistics to cover India’s diverse national markets.

Outreach Center launches public service announcement campaign on key concerns

Billboards and web site www.kid-reach.org will spotlight child abuse prevention, poverty, learning disabilities and mental health

Brooklyn, NY, April 10, 2008 – The Outreach Center, a non-profit organization that provides funding and support for children’s charities nationally, has launched a Public Service announcement (PSA) campaign that will serve as a call to action and resource on four leading concerns about children—child abuse prevention, poverty, learning disabilities and mental health. The campaign—with the tagline Create Awareness—will appear on New York City billboards this month and resources will be available at www.kid-reach.org.

The campaign is being launched this month to coincide with Prevent Child Abuse Awareness Month. It has two key elements: public awareness ads, starting with billboards, and a web resource where individuals can go to find answers and access information from subject matter experts and governmental sources.

“Outreach Center has been providing funding to children’s charities for ten years, and this is an opportunity to raise awareness and provide program services to benefit children nationwide,” said Brooke McKay, Vice President of The Outreach Center. “This campaign is a fulfillment of the mission of the Outreach Center and a way to increase awareness about the issues that matter most to the programs we fund,” said McKay.

XtraGlobex, a strategic business development and communications firm, designed the campaign, including selecting the concerns to focus on and crafting the messages, tagline and web site content to position the Outreach Center as a resource on these important problems children face, not as subject matter experts.

“We now have creative in the learning disability, self-injury, suicide, poverty/hunger, and child abuse spaces,” said Fady B. Sahhar, XtraGlobex Partner and Outreach Center’s spokesperson. “All the messages are compelling to help raise the level of public involvement. Some are more jarring than others; all are impossible to ignore.”

The web site www.kid-reach.org will be dedicated to the issues selected for the PSA campaign. Each topic will have summaries, statistics and resource links.

The PSA campaign will start in the New York City area and roll into other lead markets in Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and San Francisco in the next few months.
